Wide cream medio-picta variegation gives Coleman's Neoregelia 'Willy Wonka' its tricolor collector look. This cross of ('carolinae' x 'Hannibal Lecter') x (('johannis' x 'Skotak's Tiger') x 'Fire on Deck') matures to 26 inches across and 12 inches high, with black marginal spines, black tiger cross-banding, red speckling, and bright pink color in strong light. Offered here as a healthy pup that develops this coloring and pattern as it matures.
We are not the hybridizer, but we did name this one – like the name? We love it!

Collector color begins with the clean cream longitudinal variegation of Coleman's Neoregelia 'Lorena Lecter', a midi-sized hybrid of 'Lorena' x 'Hannibal Lecter'. Broad, glossy leaves carry soft pink margins and fine cream lines, with pinkish-red color developing as it matures. This established, growing plant gets to 19" across at maturity.

A unique gorgeous Ray Coleman hybrid with intense color and a dramatic open form. ‘Rainbow Explosion’ matures to approximately 20 inches across, with broad dark olive-green leaves that can develop vivid pink striations, sepia-toned tips, and occasional dark blotching in strong light.
The overall look is bold and saturated, with the kind of high-contrast color that makes this hybrid live up to its name.
