Grower’s Note

A new Batman hybrid with serious presence, bold color, and heavy spination. ‘Iron Shark’ is a large-growing Neoregelia that develops a strong open rosette with deep red, burgundy, green, and cream contrast across the foliage.

The leaves show intense patterned banding with darker outer shading and bright color through the center, while the larger spines give the plant a tougher, more dramatic look. This is a standout hybrid for collectors who like Batman plants with both color and structure.

The first photo shows an example of the mature hybrid. You are purchasing the actual plant shown in the other photos.

Care Instructions

Light: Bright, indirect light (tolerates some morning/afternoon sun)
Water: Keep fresh water in the central cup of the bromeliad
Medium: Use a fast-draining substrate. We recommend coconut chips, especially for South Florida. Adjust for your climate, but never let the mix stay soggy.
Climate: Warm, humid, frost-free tropical or subtropical climates with bright filtered light and good airflow.
