Grower’s Note

A rarely seen Skotak hybrid in the U.S., where the albomarginated form is the version more commonly found. This variegated form of ‘Rocket to Mars’ is a large, open grower, maturing to approximately 30 inches across.

The broad, arching, black-spined leaves carry a central cream to hot pink/scarlet stripe in strong light, with dark red punctation and cross-banding layered through the foliage. The color can become intense as the plant matures, giving this hybrid a bold, high-energy look that fits the name perfectly.

Seed parent: (carolinae variegated x Hannibal Lecter) x Norman Bates
Pollen parent: Skotak’s Tiger

The first photo shows an example of the mature hybrid. You are purchasing a mature plant SIMILAR to plant shown in the other photos.
