Big, wild, and full of attitude — Neo ‘Squidbilly’ is a standout hybrid with serious collector appeal. Named after the adult animated sitcom Squidbillies, this plant has the kind of loud, unforgettable personality that makes it impossible to ignore.
A cross of ‘Adrenaline’ × ‘Snake Charmer’, this hybrid brings together the best of both parents. From ‘Adrenaline’, it gets that electric color pop — bright pinks, creamy variegation, bold green, and dramatic red-purple markings. From ‘Snake Charmer’, it picks up its unusual form and oversized, sculptural shape.
This is the variegated version of ‘Squidbilly’, with bold central variegation running through the leaves. We also grow the albomarginated version, which has the variegation along the leaf edges.
‘Squidbilly’ is a large-growing Neoregelia, reaching 30+ inches across at maturity under the right conditions. Give it bright filtered light to bring out the strongest color, patterning, and overall intensity.

Care Instructions

- Keep fresh water in the central cup of the bromeliad

- Use a fast-draining substrate. We recommend coconut chips, especially for South Florida. Adjust for your climate, but never let the mix stay soggy.
