A rarely seen Skotak hybrid in the U.S., where the albomarginated form is the version more commonly found. This variegated form of ‘Rocket to Mars’ is a large, open grower, maturing to approximately 30 inches across.
The broad, arching, black-spined leaves carry a central cream to hot pink/scarlet stripe in strong light, with dark red punctation and cross-banding layered through the foliage. The color can become intense as the plant matures, giving this hybrid a bold, high-energy look that fits the name perfectly.

A large Skotak hybrid with serious collector appeal, ‘Eye Candy’ matures to approximately 27.5 inches across in an open rosette. The broad, arching leaves can reach around 3 inches wide, with white margins and heavy blood-red cross-banding that shows on both the top and underside of the foliage.
This hybrid came from a unique, imperfectly variegated plant in a 2009 Skotak grex that later produced/sported two standout cultivars: Neo. ‘Eye Candy’ and Neo. ‘Freak Out’. ‘Eye Candy’ carries the bold edged look, while ‘Freak Out’ is known for its median striping.
